President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo decorated the Prince of Wales, Charles Philip Arthur George, with the Companion of the Order of the Star of Ghana to mark the final day of a royal visit to Ghana.

The Order of the Star of Ghana is the highest award given by the Government of Ghana to any individual who has helped the cause of the country in one way or the other. Recipients of this award are decorated at a state function, chaired by the President of the Republic as was the case when the president hosted the Prince and his wife Camilla at a banquet to celebrate the relationship between Ghana and the United Kingdom.

The event was attended by senior dignitaries from the British community in Ghana and prominent figures from business, arts, culture and the media in Ghana.

After the decoration, Prince Charles dance to Ghanaian highlife tunes.
