Human rights lawyer par excellence Nana Oye Lithur will have her reputation damaged to a very large extent if it’s proven that she beats house helps and verbally abuses members of her household.

This is all coming from Nana Oye Lithur estranged husband, Dr. Tony Lithur who has allegedly made it clear that for reasons like her abusive tendencies, he can no longer live with her hence, praying a court to annul their marriage.

Tony Lithur has a long list of things he believes make his wife less the woman he got married to and among many things, he states that his wife is a monstrosity when it comes to dealing with other people.

In the document intercepted by the online news portal, YEN.com.gh, Tony Lithur alleges that Oye Lithur is an abuser who verbally and physically abuses others.

According to the celebrated lawyer and husband, Oye always beats up all the house-helps they have lived with since they have been married. To be fair to the human rights lawyer though, she does not beat just the house helps, but also “her own relatives in the house on the slightest provocation,” stated the document.

Nana Oye was a former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection with a mandate to protect Men, Women, and Children from domestic abusers.

Nana Oye Lithur and Dr. Tony Lithur have been married for 27 years, with four children.
