Ghana Football Association Presidential candidate George Afriyie has today been endorsed by Kumasi Asante Kotoko to become the new GFA president.
The bankroller is among other personalities who want to lead the charge and steer the affairs of Ghana football in the next four years.
Ahead of the elections, CEO of the “Porcupine Warriors”, George Amoako has thrown this weight behind the Okyeman Planners owner as the best man for the ‘big’ job.
The statement reads “We (Kotoko) are backing George Afriyie to become the president of the Ghana Football Association,” Amoako told the Press after Afriyie’s manifesto launch in Sunyani.
“He is one of the best we have in Ghana now and we are giving him all the support to lead our football and bring it to the highest level.”
George Afriyie last Saturday, launched his 2019 campaign and ‘The Restoration’ manifesto with a highlight of activities he intends to do for Ghana football.
