Ghanaian self-acclaimed dance hall king Shatta Wale has announced he has been able to accrue to the tune of GHS 13,000 after pleading with fans on social media.
The dancehall artiste pleaded to his Shatta Movement Family for support after he was convicted and fined by Accra High Court for faking his death (publishing false information).
He announced revealed that Shatta Movement Family were moved by their king’s plight after he was convicted and fined by the court.
On July 1, 2022, he revealed in a Facebook live post that Shatta Movement Family have donated an amount of GHS 13,000 to his mobile money wallet so far.
He, therefore, took the opportunity to thank the Movement for their benevolence and heartwarming support heeding to his plight to raise such an amount to set him free from going to prison.
