Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the founder of Power Chapel Church, on Sunday, compared attacks on him by sections of the public to fighting demons.
“When you heard that I have been given an appointment, you were all happy; how can I go up without fighting the demons?”
The Reverend Minister who serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral has faced accusations of conflict of interest and dual identity from Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu.
Rev. Kusi Boateng, flanked by many Power Chapel Church members in Kumasi, gave his congregation some words of encouragement from 1 Samuel 18.
He also assured his congregation that he was going to go through the accusations against him and come out victorious reiterating his position that he has done nothing untoward and will be vindicated after investigations.
“I promise you, I will go through this honorably. Every one of you should relax, be happy, and don’t waste your time fighting on Facebook.”
He assured the congregation that he would have the strength to face the difficulties ahead of him.
Rev. Kusi Boateng has threatened to take legal action against Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for tarnishing his hard-won reputation.
