Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the MP for North Tongu, has been ordered not to publish any more personal information on Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the Secretary to the Board of the National Cathedral Secretariat.
Rev. Kusi Boateng requested an order of interim injunction to restrain the member of Parliament from making further public disclosures of the private information, documents, correspondence, communication, and property belonging to him; and for such further order or orders as the Court deems fit, on the grounds contained in the supporting affidavit in a writ filed at the Human Rights Division of the High Court in Accra.
“IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the 1st Respondent, SAMUEL OKUDZETO ABLAKWA is restrained from making further public disclosures of private documents, correspondence, communication, and property belonging to the Applicant.
“IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this interim order will lapse after Ten (10) days,” the court order said.
The MP first made this information public in a Twitter post.

The North Tongu MP was seen kicking the document from his car after the bailiff dropped it to the ground a few hours after the injunction was served.

On Friday, February 3, 2023, a bailiff served him at Metro Television after he appeared on their morning program, Good Morning Ghana.
The legislator who has promised to remain unhindered claimed that he has directed his attorneys to take the necessary action with regard to the injunction.
On January 16, Ablakwa filed a petition with the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) requesting an investigation into the GH 2.6 million given to JNS Talent, a business held by Victor Kusi Boateng, the Secretary of the National Cathedral Board, under a different name.
