Hon. KT Hammond, Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa, has leveled serious allegations against his electoral contender, Samuel Binfoh Darkwah. The MP claims that Darkwah is orchestrating a campaign of intimidation by recruiting thugs to target and harass his supporters.

Earlier today the Honourable Member of Parliament was speaking to the press, Hon. KT Hammond expressed deep concern over what he described as an attempt to undermine the democratic process. “I have received credible information that my opponent, Samuel Binfoh Darkwah, is actively involved in recruiting thugs to intimidate and create fear among my supporters,” he stated.

The accusations didn’t stop there, as the MP went on to issue a stern warning to Darkwah. “I want to make it clear that if Mr. Samuel Binfoh Darkwah dares to enter the polling center to disrupt the peace or intimidate voters, I will personally take matters into my own hands,” Hon. KT Hammond declared, hinting at a potential physical confrontation.

These allegations have stirred controversy in the constituency, with supporters on both sides expressing concern over the escalating tensions. Calls for a peaceful and fair electoral process have intensified, with local authorities urged to investigate the claims and take appropriate action to ensure the safety and security of voters.
