In a devastating accident in East Legon, Accra, two young women lost their lives after a catastrophic car crash on Saturday. The collision occurred when a Jaguar vehicle and an Acura were involved in a high-impact crash, resulting in both cars bursting into flames.

According to witnesses, the force of the collision was so severe that it knocked down a nearby wooden electric pole. The fallen cables reportedly ignited the fire that consumed both vehicles, trapping the victims inside.

Emergency services arrived promptly and worked to contain the flames. Unfortunately, the fire claimed the lives of the two women, who were passengers at the time of the crash. Three others, including the drivers of both vehicles, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

The tragic incident has left East Legon residents in shock and mourning. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and residents have been urged to be cautious around the area as repairs to the damaged electric pole and cables are underway.
