Fashion is a thriving enterprise and a vital pillar of Ghana’s employment landscape. From dressmaking and hairdressing to tie & dye production, the fashion sector has long served as a buffer against joblessness, contributing significantly to national stability.
This Thursday, 17 July 2025, the Creative Arts Agency of Ghana, in collaboration with Cadling Fashions and the Korle Gonno Community Library, will host The Fashion Dialogue with Linda Ampah as part of the Inspire the Creative-in-Me! project. The event is designed to inspire and equip aspiring designers and fashion students with practical insights into building sustainable, successful brands in Ghana’s burgeoning fashion scene.
The dialogue series will feature celebrated Ghanaian fashion figures—Linda Ampah, Makeba Boateng, and Beatrice ‘Bee’ Arthur—who will share their journeys and offer guidance on navigating the creative and business aspects of the industry. Participants can also look forward to an exhibition of innovative designs and an interactive workshop aimed at translating inspiration into action.
The event takes place at the Theatre Auditorium of the Korle Gonno Community Library starting at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is exclusive to fashion students and young creatives eager to harness the enormous potential of Ghana’s “not-so-well exploited GOLDMINE”—the fashion industry.
