The management of Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., has confirmed his cooperation with the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) following his detention earlier today.

According to an official statement, the inquiry centers on the tax obligations of a yellow Lamborghini vehicle linked to the artist. Shatta Wale presented himself voluntarily at EOCO’s offices this afternoon, together with his lawyer, Cephas Biyuo, to assist with ongoing investigations.

Management reassured fans and the public that his legal team is actively engaging with the authorities to resolve the matter swiftly.

“They are taking all necessary steps to secure his release at the earliest opportunity,” the statement said.
