On Saturday night, Vogue contributing editor Naomi Campbellattended the Afro Republik festival, where she brought Nigerian superstar Wizkid on stage to close London’s Afrobeats festival.

Produced and curated by Wizkid and Dumi Oburota of Disturbing London, with 20,000 attendees and a line-up including Yxng Bane, Tiwa Savage and Mr Eazi, Afro Republik was a monumental celebration of the west African genre: “Each and every one of you has made history,” announced Naomi on stage. “Today is an inspiring day, a historic day for Afrobeats music.”

Here, she presents her favourite Afrobeats tracks: the perfect playlist for the summer ahead, starring some of its greatest names.
