A video that has since gone viral on social media, especially Facebook, shows an Uber driver being assaulted by two police officers. The two officers are seen in a frenzy trying to open the the driver side of the car while at the same time hitting the driver in the car with no respect for the Uber customer who got down from the car wondering what was going on.

Audio running in the background of the people who shot the video, a lady and two men, gives an idea of what was going on. The lady sounded worried about what was happening in the country where law enforcement has become a law unto themselves.

Citizen shot videos of police officers engaging in some of the most ludicrous and unprofessional conduct has brought to light some of these issues. Before the advent of smartphones and social media, police authorities were always on the defensive when issues of the conduct of their officers were raised.

In a similar incident, a police man mercilessly assaulted a woman for daring to ask to be paid money she had deposited at a bank.
