The Executive Director of NBSSI, Mrs. Kosi Yankey-Ayeh has presented soap cutting machines and start-up funds to a group of ten (10) women who have undergone training in soap making under a programme designed to equip women with skills to thrive.
The training is part of NBSSI’s efforts to boost women entrepreneurship across the country.
According to deputy public relations officer of NBSSI, Rejoice Tettey Klenam, the women “were trained last year at NBSSI’s district office” at Abokobi and “they went a step further through NBSSI to finalize and start production” with additional help from the Board.
The best part for these entrepreneurs is that through the help of NBSSI, they have been able to establish a limited liability company to formalize their operations.
