The Most Reverend Professor Daniel Yinka Sarfo, the head of the Anglican Church in Ghana, has showered praises and blessings on Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II who recently celebrated his 69th birthday.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II born 6th May 1950, is the 16th Asantehene- traditional ruler of the Kingdom of Ashanti.
The respected man of God who was speaking in an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo, congratulated the Asantehene for his good leadership and massive contributions to the Asante Kingdom as well as the entire nation.
Archbishop Yinka Sarfo observed that his contributions towards peace and growth of the country as a whole is unprecedented adding that the Asantehene Kingdom and Ghana, in general, has received massive developmental projects under his 20-year reign.
“I wish the great King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II long life. May the King live to see his 100s. He is indeed a great King. God gave Otumfuo to Asanteman and Ghana. We will continue to pray for Otumfuo. Otumfuo is not for Asanteman only but the entire country. May God bless the king with more wisdom, blessings and long life. On behalf of Anglican Church, I wish Otumfuo Osei Tutu II long life as he celebrates his birthday today” he said.
Archbishop Yinka Sarfo appealed to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to help establish businesses in the Ashanti region to help reduce the high unemployment rate in the region.
“I had a privilege to advise and preached to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II when he was sworn in as Asantehene. All my advice to him has been taken into consideration. He is a listened to King” he added.
