Blogger turned social media sensation―Albert Nat “Bongo Ideas” Hyde―has advised his fans who have been defending him since he was “roasted” by a trio of female journalists at the audition for GHOne TV’s “Ghana’s Next TV Star” to stop defending him and making him out to be a hero when in fact he has been “making others feel less and worthless” via his tweets.
What happened at GHOne
Albert had gone to GHOne TV to audition in The Next TV Star series. In a video that subsequently went viral on social media, the blogger was asked to present a political show. In the course of presenting the show, Albert was heard saying he only deals in facts which did not go down well with Nana Aba Anamoah.
According to tweets read on the show by Nana Aba, the young man claimed he knew what Serwaa Amihere was up to in Ghana. In his defense, the young man said his life on social media was not the same as his real life and that it was only an ‘agenda’ he was setting. But his explanation did not suffice and he was booted out of the auditions.
Following that embarrassing encounter, Albert lost his job at GHBase.com.
His boss at GHBase.com, Chris Handler says he was fired for not meeting his monthly story quota and not because of the altercation with Nana Aba Anamoah and two other journalists at GHOne.
Big Break
Less than 24hrs after Bongo Ideas lost his job, he was offered a gig by popular social media pundit Kelvin Taylor but it seems that offer will no longer hold since Bola Ray has beaten Kevin Taylor to employ the self-professed “Agenda Boy”.
Albert Nat Hyde met with Bola Ray and Nana Aba Anamoah earlier today to discuss his employment at EIB Network.
Announcing the new update to the story on social media, employee and producer at Starr FM, Caleb Boye announced Albert’s employment on Twitter.
