Barely days after Ari Lennox was abused by people on Twitter for tweeting about her experience in Ghana during the Christmas festivities, the African American singer says she is giving control of her social media accounts to her record label.

Lennox came to Ghana to perform at the Afrochella concert held on December 28 last year and took the opportunity to tour parts of Accra.
The ‘Shea Butter Baby’ singer tweeted “wow it’s a rare and good feeling to consistently wake up with peace and happiness. I really owe that to Ghana.”
After her tweets about how pleasant her experience in Ghana was, a trove of online bullies forced her to delete all her tweets both on Twitter and Instagram.
