Mohammed Alhassan, a former center-back for Hearts of Oak, has been signed by Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The league’s defending champions made the news on Thursday.

Alhassan brings his plethora of talent and experience to the team with his transfer to Asante Kotoko.

He played a significant role in Hearts of Oak’s accomplishments during his four years with them, including helping them win the 2020–2021 Ghana Premier League and two FA Cup championships.

Alhassan’s impressive performance also got him a spot on the Black Galaxies team that earlier this year qualified for the (CHAN) in Algeria.

Sadly, his lack of a club precluded him from taking part in the competition.

He is now a member of Seydou Zerbo’s team and is anticipated to aid in both the team’s FA Cup and Premier League title defense efforts.

Aduana Stars are currently ahead of Kotoko in the league standings.
