Plendify.com, a renowned e-commerce platform that links wholesalers, retailers, and SMEs with customers, has partnered with the GEA/Mastercard Foundation Young Africa Works Project. The aim is to help businesses and suppliers registered with the Ghana Enterprise Agency to join Plendify’s e-commerce platform and increase their digital sales while reaching a global audience.
The partnership’s primary objective is to provide entrepreneurs with training and equip them with the necessary skills to improve their brands. In pursuit of this objective, a nationwide training session was held to explain the partnership’s purpose.
During the signing ceremony, Mr. Beau PK Sackey, CEO of Plendify Wholesale Marketplace, declared that the collaboration would provide an excellent opportunity for Ghanaian SMEs to showcase their products to the world through the Plendify platform. The training and onboarding session provided detailed instructions on how to register and upload products to the website, thereby reaching a vast customer base worldwide.
The training session focused on the difference between digital selling and marketing and how entrepreneurs can leverage these techniques to reach their target market. Trainees were educated on how to use images or infographics, conduct market research, and connect with potential clients. They also learned how to target their content to the right audience at the right time, use social media to drive sales, and build their brand to stand out in the market.
