In December 2013, the journey to build one of the foremost professional services companies was started in Ghana. The company, Firstcode Management Services has survived the rough and tough terrain of early-stage enterprises, and today stands tall as one of the foremost businesses with ten years of enterprise success, exponential impact, and persistent growth. Over the past decade, Firstcode has provided market entry support to many investors who have successfully established their businesses in Ghana and across the sub-region. Over three hundred new and existing businesses have benefitted from the outsourcing solutions of Firstcode in the areas of Accounting and tax, HR, and Business Regulatory Compliance services.

On Friday, December 8, 2023, the company celebrated its decade of continual support for businesses, handling their back-office operations and acting as a trusted outsourcing vendor for; Accounting, Tax, Payroll, and HR Services.

At its forecourt, was a gathering of cherished stakeholders; clients, partners, suppliers, managers, directors, and all staff across the board. The celebration was indeed an ecstatic one, which allowed all patrons to glean nostalgic insights from the life-changing or rather business testimonials shared by persons who have interfaced with the company in the past 10 years.

Speaking to the audience at this festive Cocktail Soiree, Mr. King Kojo Sarfo; Founder and Managing Director of Firstcode, showed appreciation to all who have stood with the company in all its trying moments. Very importantly, he found the right words to express gratitude to those who have sacrificed and contributed to the success of Firstcode. He further assured the general public of their readiness, as an experienced and dedicated team to serve clients even better in the next decade.

With excitement, Mr. Sarfo echoed, “We are here today because of bold decisions taken, lessons that we learned from our mistakes and the highs and lows of the whole journey. We are here today because most of you, our friends and families, our loyal and cherished clients, and our business associates believed in me and trusted my team. We are here today because God showed us mercy!”

The delivery by the Managing Director was inundated with gratitude, praise, and admiration for all whose efforts have brought the company that far. He again reposed his trust in them for the journey ahead.

“To the past, we say “thank you for giving us 10”. At 10, we are well baked. We have acquired and developed a competent team of compliance officers, lawyers, accountants, tax experts, management, and finance professionals. We have an improved understanding of our industry now. We have the knowledge and skill to deliver better. We have nurtured trust and confidence among our clients and partners. Indeed, we have built a formidable base for growth”

Mr. King Kojo Sarfo proceeds to make bold and exciting projections rooted in his deep appreciation and solace in all stakeholders.

“Now, we welcome the promising future with renewed determination. The next ten years are ten years of rapid growth. We know the competition will be fierce, and the business landscape will be tougher, but we now have the muscles to learn and do more. We have the passion and the tenacity to conquer the future. We will do better for our employees, we will deliver exceptional value to our loyal clients who never give up on us; we will support the growing startup ecosystem to augment the efforts to solve the fast-evolving challenges in society; we will establish, grow presence and make an impact in Sub Saharan Africa. Very importantly, we will give back to society”.
