Renowned televangelist T.D. Jakes, leader of The Potter’s House megachurch in Dallas, Texas, unequivocally refuted unverified allegations circulating on social media regarding his participation in purported sex parties hosted by music mogul Sean Combs, widely known as Diddy.
Addressing his congregation, Jakes dismissed the baseless accusations, labeling them as outright lies and urging his followers not to fret over the unfounded claims. In a public livestream of his Christmas Eve service, he confidently asserted his well-being and refused to be swayed by the unsubstantiated allegations.
“Would y’all please do me a favor and stop worrying about me and give God some praise and honor and glory? I am fine. I’m good. I’m the man for the job,” Jakes assured, maintaining his composure amidst the controversy.
He emphasized the power of repentance if the claims were true but asserted his confidence, stating, “The worst that could happen, if everything was true, all I got to do is repent sincerely, from my heart. There’s enough power in the blood to cover all kinds of sins. But I ain’t got to repent about this.”
Jakes’ name surfaced on various social media platforms following reports from Tuff News TV that linked him to a lawsuit involving Cassie, an R&B singer, accusing Combs of sexual assault and abuse. The video also alleged Jakes’ involvement in purported sex parties, claims vehemently denied by Jakes’ spokesperson, Jordan A. Hora.
The accusations, swiftly dismissed as false and unfounded, spread rapidly on social media, prompting viral reactions. Despite the circulation of these claims, Jakes remained resolute in his denial of any involvement in the alleged activities and urged followers to focus on celebrating the season rather than engaging with the baseless rumors.
