Maj. Dr. Ebenezer Kwakye Agyemang (Rtd)

Eben Kwakye Agyemang is a retired officer of the Ghana Army and a defence and security and risk leadership practitioner. He is an expert in extractive industry security. He was a Senior Directing Staff at the National College of Defence Studies – Ghana and a ‘Dagger Fellow’ for his contribution to national security and strategic leadership. He is an adjunct facilitator at KAIPTC. He is a medal recipient from five UN peacekeeping operations in West and Eastern Africa and the Middle East. He has also held security operations, investigations and management roles in five multinational corporations, in the extractive sector. He holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration from SBS Swiss Business School in Switzerland, where his doctoral thesis on illegal gold mining was adjudged ‘Maxime Practica Propositum’. His other books include ‘The Dynamics of Trans-National Organised Crime: An Emerging Security Challenge in West Africa and Terrorism’ and Leadership and Discipline -From Battlespace to Boardroom. He is the Team at Lead at Mining Intelligence and Investigation Group, an affiliate of Crossbridge Leadership Institute -a not-for-profit entity in Ghana
