Samuel Adjei is a Financial Risk Management professional and has played key roles in Enterprise-Wide Risk Management frameworks at Guaranty Trust Bank (Gh) Limited, Deutsche Börse Group and Energy Commercial Bank. He is the Managing Partner of commodity brokerage firm Sofcom which trades on the Ghana Commodity Exchange (GCX). Samuel is Risk and Regulation certified by Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) as well as a SAP ERP Certified Application Associate. Samuel holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Oulu Business School of Oulun Yliopisto and a Master of Management in Banking & Asset Management form HEC Management School of Universite de Liege. Samuel also holds a Master of Science in Drug Discovery from University College London having previously graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (First Class Honours).
