The recent announcement of committees by the National Executive Council has generated significant public discussion within our party and beyond. While engagement is healthy, we must remind ourselves of the task ahead.

It is premature for either celebration or disappointment based solely on inclusion or omission from a committee list. These appointments are assignments to work, not final honors or rejections.

Winning an election requires a clear strategy and disciplined execution. History has shown that the most decisive work happens below the water line—building structures, consolidating grassroots support, and preparing for the contest that truly matters.

We are facing a ruling NDC government that has already served 8 years in opposition. They understand the determination required to return to power. It would be a strategic error to allow internal division to weaken our focus at this stage.

Therefore, I call on all members of NPP to exercise restraint.

1. An inclusion in a committee is not a cabinet appointment.* It is a call to serve the party’s objectives.
2. An omission is not exclusion from the party.* There are multiple avenues to contribute before and during the campaign.
3. In the final verdict, it takes two-thirds of Ghanaians to win an election.* No single list determines that outcome. Only unity can.

Not everyone can serve on a committee at this time. However, no member should be sidelined or penalized because of perceived factional allegiance. Our strength lies in our breadth, not in narrowing ourselves through internal fractures.

Let us remember: ours is a Tradition—built on discipline, loyalty, and service above self. The elections are not won yet. The real work of securing victory for Ghana begins now.

I urge all patriots to put the party and the country first, set aside grievances, and channel energy toward the common goal of winning the confidence of the Ghanaian people.
