Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has released the official music video for “Tell Everybody”, his first collaboration with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Leon Thomas.

The visual arrives shortly after the release of Davido’s sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, which was released on July 31 through Sony Music UK/RCA Records.

“Tell Everybody” blends the warmth of R&B with the rhythmic energy of Afrobeats, with both artists delivering a romantic declaration about expressing love openly.

Davido sings about making his partner know she is all that matters to him, while Thomas adds a soulful perspective on stepping beyond his usually private nature to express his feelings.

The collaboration was developed after Davido and Thomas first met at the Grammy Awards. Their shared interest in music was complemented by a connection through their faith as fellow Seventh-day Adventists.

The relationship eventually developed into a creative partnership, resulting in the track that now features on ORIADÉ.

The album marks another major chapter in Davido’s career as he celebrates 15 years in music.

Its title, ORIADÉ, is derived from the Yoruba words “Ori”, meaning head or destiny, and “Adé”, meaning crown.

The project explores themes of purpose, growth, gratitude, legacy and personal fulfilment while drawing from Afrobeats, R&B, amapiano, dancehall and global pop.

The “Tell Everybody” video further expands the visual world of the album and highlights one of its more emotionally driven collaborations, while showcasing Davido’s continued fusion of African and international sounds.
