The latest updates from the Ghana Health Service’s Disease Surveillance Department show an increase in COVID-19 cases. The cases have risen to 834, up from 641.
However, GHS says these are not new infections but results from a backlog of samples. The service hopes to clear all backlog in the next few days.
After the completion of a backlog of laboratory samples which have been picked for testing, the confirmed cases have increased.
