The 1988 year group of Koforidua Secondary Technical School (SECTECH) has donated four hand mowers worth GH₵10,000 to their alma mater to support environmental maintenance in the school.
The group also presented four pairs of Wellington boots and nose masks to aid in sanitation efforts.
Speaking during the presentation, a member of the group, Rev Justice Kwame Assum, said the donation was their way of giving back to a school that played a key role in shaping their lives.
He noted that the hand mowers would significantly contribute to keeping the school environment clean and healthy.
The Headmaster of the school, Emmanuel Frimpong Bedjabeng, who received the items on behalf of the school, expressed appreciation to the group for their generous support.
He stated that the donation would help reduce the burden on the school in maintaining cleanliness on campus.
The gesture forms part of efforts by alumni groups to support development and improve conditions in their former schools.
