Ghanaian music icon Kojo Antwi is set to hold a book signing event in New York on Thursday, 16 April 2026, where he will engage fans and sign copies of his memoir.

The memoir, titled “Mr Music Man: The Journey,” was officially launched in Accra on 13 February 2026, documenting the musician’s life, career, and decades-long contribution to African music.

The signing event will take place at the Source of Knowledge Book Store in Newark between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.

Kojo Antwi is currently in the United States following a performance on Saturday, 11 April 2026, which was organised at the invitation of the Kwahuman Association of New York in collaboration with the Kojo Antwi Foundation.

The event, themed “Celebrating the Music Man, Kojo Antwi,” brought together Ghanaians in the diaspora, other African nationals, and international guests in honour of the veteran musician.

He is expected to engage fans in a three-hour signing session where hundreds of copies of his memoir will be autographed, alongside photo opportunities with attendees.

In a social media post, he said, “Hello New Jersey fans, friends & family, I’ll be signing copies of my memoir, MR MUSIC MAN: THE JOURNEY, and meeting you in person at Source of Knowledge Book Store, Newark. Thursday, April 16, 2026 | 5PM–8PM.”

The book, co-authored by George Essiaw, traces Kojo Antwi’s early life, his time in music bands, and the experiences that shaped his artistic journey.

The launch event in Accra attracted tributes and goodwill messages, including a eulogy in honour of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, as well as remarks from industry and business figures who highlighted his influence on generations.

The veteran musician has also presented a copy of the memoir to Ivorian music star Meiway during a visit in Paris, France.
