TheLivingstone Foundation, established by dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and his wife Dr Louisa Satekla, has undertaken a humanitarian outreach to the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, donating food items and essential supplies to support inmates as part of its ongoing charitable interventions.

The visit formed part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to social impact, rehabilitation support, and assistance for vulnerable and marginalised groups. Beyond the donation exercise, the couple engaged directly with inmates, spending time interacting and offering words of encouragement and emotional support.

Prison authorities welcomed the initiative, describing its impact as extending beyond material assistance. According to officials, such engagements contribute meaningfully to rehabilitation efforts by boosting morale and reinforcing messages of reintegration, second chances, and social acceptance.

The Livingstone Foundation said the outreach reflects its wider agenda of humanitarian assistance and community upliftment, with a focus on groups often excluded from mainstream support systems.

As part of the visit, Stonebwoy also pledged continued support for inmates, including a commitment to stage an annual live music concert within the prison facility. The proposed concert is expected to bring music and entertainment into the correctional environment as part of emotional rehabilitation efforts.

The Foundation’s intervention adds to its growing portfolio of philanthropic initiatives, strengthening its role in social impact and community development work across Ghana.
