Asaase Radiohas announced a refreshed weekend programming schedule, introducing new shows aimed at deepening audience engagement across news, youth culture and education.

The station said the upgraded lineup is designed to offer a mix of in-depth journalism, interactive discussion and community-focused content, positioning weekends as a key part of its broadcast strategy.

Kicking off the schedule isWeek in Review, a Saturday morning news programme airing at 6:00 a.m., which will deliver a curated roundup of major stories from the past week. Produced by the Asaase News team, the show is expected to provide listeners with a concise but comprehensive briefing on key developments locally and internationally.

Later on Saturdays, the station shifts tone with Zeelogic, a youth-driven talk show airing at 2:00 p.m. The programme focuses on conversations around relationships, entrepreneurship, social trends and popular culture, with an emphasis on candid, peer-led discussions among young people.

Described as a platform “hosted by Gen Zs, for Gen Zs,” Zeelogic aims to capture the voice of a generation navigating contemporary social and economic realities, while tackling topics often overlooked in traditional discourse.

On Sundays, the station rounds off the weekend with PTA+, airing at 6:00 p.m. and hosted by educator Gyimaah Larbi. The programme is designed to strengthen collaboration between parents and educators through open dialogue on issues affecting teaching and learning.

Featuring guests from across the education sector, PTA+ will focus on practical solutions, policy discussions and shared responsibilities in improving outcomes for students.
