The couple announced the birth in a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, expressing joy over the arrival of their daughter, who was born on 2 May 2026.
Explaining the significance of the name Eliana, the couple said it reflects their faith and journey to parenthood.
According to them, “EL” means God, while “ANA” translates as “He has answered,” together conveying the message: “My God has answered.”
They also referenced the Bible verse 1 Samuel 1:27 — “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” — underscoring the spiritual meaning behind the name.
The birth marks a new chapter for the couple, whose relationship has drawn public attention in recent years.
Veekee James and Atere got married in a widely celebrated ceremony in February 2024, following their engagement in December 2023.
