Accra witnessed one of its biggest nightlife events of the year as GoldBlock Party hosted the Accra edition of Purple at The Underbridge Annex Dome, drawing hundreds of music lovers, creatives and party enthusiasts.
The event featured performances across Afro House, Amapiano and Afrotech genres, with South African DJ DJ Maphorisa headlining the night. He delivered a high-energy set that kept the audience engaged throughout.
Other performers included Shoday, EeQue, Jnr SA, Jazzwrld, Thukuthela, DJ Millzy, Afrolektra, DJ Williamo and Uncool MC.
The event was hosted by MCs Kojo Manuel, Accra Mayor, Michael Nicols and Tim Jeezy, who kept the crowd engaged from start to finish.
The Purple festival forms part of GoldBlock Party’s expansion into Africa’s Afro-electronic and nightlife scene, aimed at connecting audiences through curated music experiences.
The Accra edition is expected to be followed by events in other cities as the platform grows across the continent.
