Renowned broadcaster, women’s advocate and Queen Mother, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, is set to embark on an empowerment and book signing tour in the United Kingdom as part of activities under The Standpoint @18 initiative.

The event, dubbed “A Night of Faith, Influence and Book Signing with OQM Gifty Anti,” is being organised by Gospel Temple Assemblies of God, Northampton, in collaboration with the Gifty Anti Foundation.

Scheduled for July 19, 2026, at the Gospel Temple Assemblies of God in Northampton, the programme will bring together women, community leaders, traditional authorities and other stakeholders for an evening of inspiration, mentorship and networking.

The event will be held under the theme, “Woman: Pursue Your Legacy,” and is expected to feature discussions on leadership, personal development, faith and the importance of building lasting legacies.

Speaking ahead of the event, Oheneyere Gifty Anti described the programme as a significant milestone, noting that it would be her first official visit to the United Kingdom since being enstooled as a queen mother.

“The Mayor of Northampton is going to be there, chiefs will be there. This will be my official visit to the UK since I became queen mother, so I’d love for you to be there. It’s a night of glam. The theme is ‘Woman: Pursue Your Legacy’,” she said.

The event will also include a book-signing session, offering participants the opportunity to interact with Oheneyere Gifty Anti and gain insights from her personal and professional journey.

The programme forms part of broader efforts by the Gifty Anti Foundation to empower women and young people through mentorship, education and personal development initiatives.

The event is expected to attract members of the Ghanaian community in the UK, traditional leaders, professionals and supporters from Northampton and surrounding areas.

Rev. Emmanuel Obeng of Gospel Temple Assemblies of God is among the key personalities expected to participate in the programme.
