Fathers were put to the test at Asempa FM’s Paapa Ayekoo Father’s Day celebration through activities aimed at highlighting the important role men play in family life.
Held at the Aviation Social Centre, the event featured a number of fun and engaging competitions that drew excitement from patrons and participants alike.

One of the highlights of the celebration saw three fathers selected from the audience to dress baby dolls, demonstrating how well they could care for their babies when their wives were not around.
The activity sparked laughter and applause as the contestants raced against time to properly dress the dolls, with spectators cheering them on throughout the competition.

Another activity focused on the caring role husbands play within the family. Participants were tasked with feeding their “sick wives” in a challenge designed to promote love, care and support between spouses.
The exercise attracted enthusiastic participation and entertained the audience while reinforcing the importance of mutual care in marriage.
The event was also marked by musical performances that kept patrons on their feet.

Veteran highlife musician Pat Thomas thrilled the audience with some of his popular songs, drawing loud cheers and sing-alongs from fans at the venue.

The Ghana Prisons Service Band also delivered a captivating live band performance, filling the atmosphere with vibrant music and adding excitement to the Father’s Day festivities.

The annual Paapa Ayekoo celebration brought together families, friends and well-wishers in a joyful atmosphere, making it a memorable Father’s Day event for participants and patrons.
