Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has promised fans a vibrant and attacking display when his side face England in their second Group L fixture at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The four-time African champions meet the European heavyweights at Gillette Stadium, with both teams entering the clash level on three points after opening victories in the competition.

Queiroz, speaking ahead of the high-profile encounter, described the match as one designed for spectacle on the global stage.

“Trust me, huge entertainment on the pitch. Huge entertainment,” Queiroz said.

“That’s our job—to create entertainment. We belong to the entertainment business. This is our duty and obligation on behalf of Ghana to create entertainment,” he added.

He noted that England would also approach the game with similar ambition.

“The English team is going to do the same. We’re going to fight, we’re going to play, we’re going to enjoy,” he said.

The Portuguese coach went on to express confidence that the fixture would leave a lasting impression on supporters.

“It will be a wonderful game. I guarantee there will be memories and emotions in people’s hearts after the game is over.”

Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 GMT, with Ghana aiming for a positive result that would strengthen their position in Group L ahead of their final group match on June 27 in Philadelphia.

A strong outcome would also boost their bid to reach the World Cup knockout stage for the first time since 2010.
