Real Madrid Agree €2m Deal to Sign Ghanaian Defender Oscar Naasei
Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign highly rated Ghanaian defender Oscar Naasei from Granada, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 21-year-old centre-back is expected to join the Spanish giants in a deal worth €2 million, with Madrid viewing him as a player for the future.

Romano reported on Thursday that Naasei has already completed his medical and is set to sign a long-term contract with Real Madrid.

“Here we go,” Romano announced, his signature phrase used to indicate that a transfer agreement has been reached.

Naasei will initially link up with Real Madrid Castilla, the club’s reserve team, where he will continue his development with an eye on eventually breaking into the senior side.

The move represents a significant step in the young Ghanaian defender’s career and places him within one of world football’s most prestigious development structures.

Real Madrid have increasingly invested in promising young players who can develop within the club before competing for places in the first team, and Naasei appears to be the latest addition to that strategy.

His reported €2 million transfer also provides Granada with a fee for the defender as Madrid move to secure his long-term future.

For Ghana, Naasei’s move could make him another young prospect to watch closely as he develops in Spain and attempts to establish himself at the Santiago Bernabéu in the years ahead.
