Self-styled spiritual leader Ajagurajah has broken his silence on the ongoing tensions within the family of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, following reports of a violent confrontation among members over burial arrangements and succession matters.
In a press statement issued by the Ajagurajah Movement, he expressed deep concern over the developments, describing the situation as worrying and potentially dangerous if not handled with urgency and maturity.
He noted that he had taken notice of public conversations linking the incident to earlier spiritual prophesies he had made during the one-week observance of the late Apostle.
He is quoted to have said on September 23, 2025, “There is disgrace ahead of the funeral and burial, but if all of you sit down and resolve it, it will be avoided. The Safo legacy is at stake.”
However, in his latest reaction, Ajagurajah stressed that his immediate concern was not about interpretations of prophecy, but rather preventing further escalation of the conflict.
Ajagurajah strongly condemned the reported violence among the family members and called for calm.
He further appealed for restraint as he warned that the current situation could worsen if disagreements are not resolved amicably, especially as arrangements for the final funeral rites continue.
He encouraged families and the public to listen more attentively to spiritual counsel and to work towards preserving legacies rather than allowing disagreements to overshadow them.
