Ghana national football team will travel to Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday as they continue preparations for their Round of 32 clash against Colombia national football team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The West African side are scheduled to face the South American opponents on Friday, July 3, in the knockout phase after progressing from the group stage as one of the best third-placed teams.
Following qualification, head coach Carlos Queiroz granted the squad a day’s rest before preparations resumed with an intensified training programme.
The team will undergo two training sessions on Tuesday — morning and evening — at Bryant University near Smithfield, before wrapping up with a final morning workout on Wednesday ahead of their trip.
They will then depart later that day for Kansas City, where final preparations will be completed before the high-stakes encounter.
Ghana advanced from Group I with four points, finishing behind England national football team, who topped the group with seven points, and Croatia national football team, who secured second place with six.
