It was a night of mixed emotion and undeniable memories when Ghanaian entertainers gathered in United States to honour the late actress Beverly Afaglo at her memorial service.

The service, held over the weekend at the ANC Banquet Hall in Virginia, pulled together some of Ghana’s biggest entertainment names who came together to pay tribute and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and colleagues.

Leading the charge was Beverly’s beloved husband, Eugene Baah, alias Choirmaster, who organised the memorial programme, joined by fellow Praye member, Tietia.

The hall came alive with familiar faces from the entertainment industry, including Afia Schwarzenegger, Chris Attoh, Opanka, Yaw Dabo, Incredible Zigi, Kofi Kinaata, Wutah Kobby, Chase, Pope Skinny, Donzy and several others who travelled and gathered to honour Beverly’s memory.

Chorimaster’s connection to PRESEC also came through strongly, as representatives of his alma mater were present to show support.

Though marked by grief, the atmosphere was far from heavy alone. Music and shared memories turned the memorial into a celebration of Beverly Afaglo’s life and the relationships she built across Ghana’s creative space.
