SpaceXAI has introduced Grok 4.5, the latest version of its artificial intelligence model, designed to handle tasks including coding, research, writing and routine knowledge-based work.
The company said the new model is built to improve efficiency and reduce costs, claiming that it offers twice the token efficiency of other leading AI models.
In a blog post announcing the release, SpaceXAI described Grok 4.5 as a general-purpose AI system capable of supporting a wide range of professional and productivity tasks.
The company also released benchmark results that it said demonstrate the model’s competitiveness with other leading AI systems.
SpaceXAI founder Elon Musk said Grok 4.5 had received positive feedback from users during beta testing and described it as a model comparable to high-performing AI systems but with improved speed and lower costs.
According to SpaceXAI, Grok 4.5 will cost $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens.
The company said the combination of performance, speed and affordability would make the model competitive in the growing artificial intelligence market.
The launch comes amid increasing competition among major AI companies, with several firms continuing to release more advanced models aimed at improving automation and productivity.
