Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has showered praise on Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, describing his journey and contribution to Ghana’s World Cup campaign as a source of inspiration and pride for Ghanaians and supporters of Hearts of Oak.

Mr Ablakwa made the remarks when the goalkeeper paid a courtesy visit to him to formally express his appreciation for the encouragement and support he received during his time with the senior national team.

In a message shared after the meeting, the Minister commended Asare’s determination and achievements, highlighting the impact of his story on many young footballers aspiring to reach the highest level.

“Thank you very much for your kind visit, Benjamin Asare. Your story truly inspires. Ghanaians and Phobians are immensely proud of your exploits. We shall always adore you,” Mr Ablakwa said.
