Ghanaian winger Mohammed Fuseini was the victim of a robbery attack in Brussels over the weekend, with the assailants making off with valuable personal belongings.

The 24-year-old reportedly lost two iPhones, a watch valued at around €8,000, and his wallet during the incident.

Belgian authorities have since launched an investigation into the robbery, with reports indicating that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack.

Despite the ordeal, Fuseini has returned to training with Belgian top-flight side Union Saint-Gilloise after undergoing medical checks to assess his condition.

The former Right To Dream Academy graduate featured prominently for Union SG last season, making 27 appearances in the Belgian league and scoring three goals across all competitions.

Fuseini has also earned two caps for Ghana’s senior national team, with both appearances coming during the Black Stars’ participation in the 2025 Unity Cup. He scored in Ghana’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago in the competition.

Before joining Union Saint-Gilloise, Fuseini played for Austrian side Sturm Graz, where he helped the club secure the Austrian Bundesliga title and the Austrian Cup.
