Firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have brought under control a fire that swept through a cluster of houses at Labadi Wireless in Accra.
Personnel from the trade fair, ministries, and Accra City fire stations responded to the incident and succeeded in containing the blaze before carrying out overhaul and salvage operations.
The GNFS said firefighters remain at the scene to secure the affected area and recover salvageable property.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, while authorities are yet to determine the extent of damage to the affected properties.
The service is expected to begin investigations to establish the circumstances that led to the outbreak.
No casualties have been reported.
