The fire broke out on Monday, August 17, affecting structures used for both residential and commercial activities.
Firefighters from the Amasaman Fire Station were dispatched to the scene and worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties.
The incident was confirmed by Assistant Divisional Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Alex King Nartey, in a post on Facebook.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, while authorities are yet to determine the full extent of the damage caused by the outbreak.
