Agbodza begins nationwide tour to inspect key road projects

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, is today, Wednesday, August 19, undertaking a nationwide road inspection tour, beginning with key road projects in the Greater Accra Region.

The inspection will cover the following projects: La Beach Road Completion Project – Phases 1 and 2, being executed by Oswal Investment Limited.

The Accra–Tema Motorway Extension Project, covering 27.7 kilometres, and the Tema Roundabout–Tetteh Quarshie Interchange, covering 19.5 kilometres, being executed by Maripoma Enterprise Limited.

Rehabilitation of the Tema–Aflao Road, being undertaken by First Sky Limited and BHM Construction Limited.

Reconstruction of the Dodowa–Afienya–Dawhenya Road, from kilometre 0.0 to 24.8, together with selected town roads, being executed by Oswal Investment Limited.

Dualisation of the Adenta–Dodowa Road, covering 22 kilometres, also being executed by Oswal Investment Limited.

The inspection is expected to provide the Minister with an opportunity to assess progress on the projects, identify challenges affecting their execution, and engage contractors on measures to ensure timely completion.
