Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has revealed that actress and media personalityNana Ama McBrown has a divine calling to minister the word of God.

According to Ohemaa Mercy, McBrown carries a special grace and has been called by God for a greater purpose.

Speaking in a video shared on Instagram on Thursday, August 20, Ohemaa Mercy said she had been praying about McBrown’s spiritual calling since 2020.

“If you have had an encounter with Nana Ama McBrown, you will see that God uses people in different ways. She has a calling. I have prophesied to her, and she has to obey and walk in it,” she said.

Ohemaa Mercy also suggested that McBrown should take an active role in ministry, proposing that she chair the Women of the Altar programme.

“She should even chair the Women of the Altar programme. I have been praying about this from 2020 till now, and I know God will use her,” she added.

Reacting to Ohemaa Mercy’s comments, McBrown spoke about her personal relationship with God, describing her faith as an important part of her daily life.

She said she begins her day by reflecting on God and expressing gratitude before getting out of bed.

“Anytime I wake up in the morning, I look up at my ceiling and think about God because, in my mind, He represents the purest and cleanest thing. Before I get out of bed, I always give thanks to God,” she said.

McBrown also reflected on her experience with prayer and the birth of her daughter, Maxin, saying she believes her faith has played an important role in her life.

She credited Ohemaa Mercy’s Tehillah Experience with strengthening her spiritual life and described the programme as one of the experiences that has deepened her faith.

“If I should tell you what I have gained from the Tehillah Experience…” she said, before speaking about her daughter’s birth and subsequent health.

McBrown said she had prayed for protection over herself and her daughter and believes those prayers have been answered.

“My daughter, Maxin, was born in eight months and two days, and ever since she was born, she has not suffered any illness. She is also eating very well,” she said.

“I prayed that no threatening condition would befall my daughter or me, and God has been faithful,” she added.
