Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has commended Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his statement that has gone viral after his last address to the nation on COVID-19.
In his last address, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said his government knew how to “bring the economy back to life” but they don’t know how to “bring people back to life” so he was putting the safety of the people of Ghana first and then proceeded to issue instructions for a partial lockdown.
