Former National Security Head Capt. Kojo Tsikata (Rtd.) passes on
The retired Army Captain gave up his last breath on Saturday dawn. He died at a health facility in the capital where he had been admitted to receive medical care.
The former National Security Head and Foreign Affairs Minister under the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC), Captain Kojo Tsikata (Rtd.) has passed on.
Confirming the news on 3 News, National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi said: “This is really sad news not just for the NDC. It is sad news for Ghana”.
He sent his condolence to the family.
A statement issued by his family said he died early Saturday, November 20, 2021.
The statement signed by Col. Joshua Agbotui (Rtd) and Fui S. Tsikata stated, “in accordance with his [Tsikata] wishes, the family will be making arrangements for a private funeral.
