JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is personally leading a nationwide investor campaign to promote SpaceX’s upcoming initial public offering (IPO), engaging about 2,500 high-net-worth clients across 90 locations in the United States.
The outreach forms part of a coordinated effort by JPMorgan and SpaceX executives to generate strong investor demand ahead of what is expected to be one of the largest IPOs in history.
According to reports, Dimon will headline a live investor session at JPMorgan’s headquarters in New York, alongside senior bank executives and SpaceX leadership.
The event is being simulcast to around 90 JPMorgan locations across 26 states, allowing thousands of wealthy clients to participate in discussions about the offering.
SpaceX is targeting a record IPO valued at about $1.75 trillion, with plans to raise approximately $75 billion through the sale of shares priced at around $135 each.
The offering is expected to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker “SPCX”, marking one of the most closely watched public market debuts in recent years.
The IPO is also being structured to include significant participation from retail and private wealth investors, a departure from traditional listings that primarily focus on institutional buyers.
SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk, operates in space exploration, satellite internet through Starlink, and emerging technology ventures, and is widely considered one of the most valuable private companies in the world.
The listing is expected to test global investor confidence in Musk-led ventures, which have already reshaped sectors including electric vehicles, artificial intelligence and space technology.
