Aspiring Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Boateng-Agyemang, popularly known as Chairman Cudjoe, has officially kicked off his campaign after drawing number two on the ballot ahead of the party’s regional executive elections.
Chairman Cudjoe secured the number during the party’s vetting and balloting exercise held on Tuesday in Koforidua.
Following the exercise, he immediately launched his campaign, pledging to unite the party and strengthen its structures to position the NPP for victory in the 2028 general elections.
Campaign materials released after the balloting project the message, “Together, We Build Victory,” with Chairman Cudjoe promising “leadership with vision and service with passion.”
His campaign is built around what he describes as three core values: dedication, loyalty and compassion, which he says will guide his leadership if elected.
According to the campaign message, Chairman Cudjoe is committed to serving the party with diligence, remaining loyal to the ideals of the NPP and putting the interests of party members first.
The NPP is holding regional executive elections across the country as part of efforts to reorganise the party following its defeat in the 2024 general elections and strengthen its structures ahead of the 2028 polls.
