PSG vs. Aston Villa is the 2026 UEFA Super Cup Final and it will be played today, August 12, 2026 at the Red Bull Arena in Wals-Siezenheim, Austria.

The Suepr Cup is between the current Champions League holders (PSG) against the current Europa League holders (Aston Villa).

PSG return to the UEFA Super Cup Final after winning the Champions League a second straight year and will look to defend their Super Cup trophy after winning it last year over Tottenham Hotpsur.

Both teams played pre-season matches ahead of the UEFA Super Cup today. PSG lost 3-0 to Mallorca and drew 1-1 with Manchester United.

Aston Villa played five friendly matches in this summer's pre-season and in their recent friendly, they lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich in Hong Kong.

For today's UEFA Super Cup, PSG will see more first-team players return to the squad after missing the friendly matches. Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Fabián Ruiz, Achraf Hakimi, and Bradely Barcola have returned to the squad and are available to play today.

PSG's latest signing Maghnes Akliouche has started training with the team and is available to play the match today.

Aston Villa have most of their squad available to play against PSG, including their signings Alejandro Garnacho and Joao Gomes. Johan Manzambi remains unavailble due to a knee injury he suffered during the World Cup while playing for Switzerland.
